Room With A View explores photography as a way of experiencing and documenting places when chronic disability limits physical mobility. Created during virtual walks through video games, the series uses built-in photographic tools to capture digital landscapes. When disability prevents the artist from holding a camera or venturing outdoors, these virtual environments offer an alternative space for exploration and creativity. By photographing these digital worlds, the project considers how photography can adapt to changing circumstances, allowing the continuing observation, exploring and making images from the confinement of a room.
